John Brakey of AUDITAZ discovered that heavily Democratic precincts were disproportionately chosen to be "compressed" into voting areas for the city elections, which were marked by a very close defeat of Democrat Nina Trasoff by Republican Steve Kozachik in Ward 6. In such a close race, the number of people who may have discovered they were at the wrong polling place is significant.

Wow, not that I have much inclination to confidence in the DoJ, but the voting areas were altered illegally? Maybe there is a squirmy lawyer with the county with his squirmy interpretation of why this isn't "illegal?" Or maybe there's a good reason?
