Egypt has accepted to issue visa for Iran MPs to visit Gaza

Iranian Students News Agency
TEHRAN (ISNA)-An Iranian parliamentarian Mahmoud Ahmadi-Biqash said Egyptian government has accepted to issue visa for a number of Iranian parliament members to visit Gaza Strip.

Following Zionist regime's deadly attack on an aid flotilla heading to Gaza Strip, a number of Iranian lawmakers have called for visiting Gaza Strip.

"After our meeting with the Head of Egypt's Interests Section in Iran Aleddin Hassan-Youssef, he agreed to notify Egypt's government of Iran's parliament request for visiting Gaza Strip," he told ISNA.

"Egyptian government accepted Iran's demand Sunday."

Larijani was to send a letter to People's Assembly Speaker Ahmed Fathi Sorour to facilitate granting visa to the Iranian law-makers so they can enter Rafah crossing.

Biqash has already said he is most likely to be dispatched to Egypt along with three other legislators to arrive in Gaza Strip through Rafah crossing.
