Apparently, it's O.K. to yell "fire" in a crowd in Egypt because their President just riled the mob in Tahrir square with his prerecorded video message. Now we understand why he didn't speak live.
Two previous reports may be called into question:
First, Presidential sources claimed that Mubarak left the country (unless he is in hiding).
Second, the army will refuse orders to fire upon the population. Somehow, Hosni Mubarak believes he is still in control of Egypt's army.
