Pakistanis sceptical about crash probe

Authorities investigating air disaster that killed 127 people, but few believe they will receive answers.

Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority has said it is looking at all possible reasons for Friday’s air crash near the capital, Islamabad, that killed 127 people.

The head of Bhoja Air has been blocked from leaving the country. However, few believe that the investigators will ever receive answers as to what brought down the Boeing 737 or whether it is really safe to travel by air in Pakistan

The accident is Pakistan's second major aviation disaster in less than two years.

In July 2010, the air crash of an Airbus 321 passenger jet while coming in to land after a flight from Karachi left at least 152 people killed.

Al Jazeera’s Imtiaz Tyab reports from Islamabad.
