Jason Leopold, an investigative journalist for Truth-Out, has obtained FBI documents - through the Freedom of Information Act - relating to Occupy Wall Street. Most of the pages in the documents are redacted, and show concerns of cyber threats against the financial sector. However, there are questions of assassination plots against Occupy activists in Houston, Texas. Because the documents have redactions, it is not clear who or what group was planning the assassinations.

On page 61, the section reads: “An identified [redacted] of October planned to engage in sniper attacks against protesters in Houston, Texas, if deemed necessary. An identified [redacted] had received intelligence that indicated the protesters in New York and Seattle planned similar protests in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Austin, Texas. [Redacted] planned to gather intelligence against the leaders of the protest groups and obtain photographs, then formulate a plan to kill the leadership via suppressed sniper rifles.”

The bottom of page 68 and the top of page 69 reads: “On October 13, 2011, writer sent via email an excerpt [redacted] regarding FBI Houston’s [redacted] to all IA’s, SSRA’s and SSA [redacted]. This [redacted] identified the exploitation of the Occupy Movement by [redacted] interested in developing a long-term plan to kill local Occupy leaders via sniper fire.” ragingchickenpress.org

HIGHLIGHTS

According to internal documents newly released by the FBI, the agency spearheaded a nationwide law enforcement effort to investigate and monitor the Occupy Wall Street movement. In certain documents, divisions of the FBI refer to the Occupy Wall Street protests as a "criminal activity" or even "domestic terrorism." The Huffington Post

It is difficult to even find an analog in history to these events. Deaths that befall much of a nation's leadership aren't usually accidents, either legitimate or designed to look like such.

Of course, part of this is that any major accident wiping out a good measure of a nation's leadership is invariably assured of some investigation by disinterested parties - except in this case, where the Russian government had the "boots on the ground" and the Polish government soon to be under the administration of Donald Tusk and Bronisław Komorowski, had to choose between consolidation of power and some favorable trade agreements with Russia, or a "delicate" situation...


The television channel “TV Trwam” broadcasted how on the day the coffin with my husband's body was flown [to Poland from Russia], Mr. Marshall [of the Polish Sejm (Parliament) Bronislaw] Komorowski, stood along with Prime Minister [Donald] Tusk, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Radoslaw ["Radek"] Sikorski, all jubilant, and in great moods. I noticed very quickly, that it was with great difficulty, that they were hiding their elation, and feelings of at last, being finally victorious.

Did you receive any information about what happened, aside from the [official] media reports?
 

No. No one told me anything. After two days, the then Marshall [of the Sejm - Polish Parlimanent] Bronisław Komorowski called me. You decided not to fly [to Russia] to identify the remains of your husband …

I decided not to do that. Przemyk's mom wanted to fly there. We all thought that it was a bad idea. Her brother, and his wife, traveled from Nysa [a town in southwestern Poland]. We decided together, that they should fly to Moscow. I believe that it was a right decision.

What were they saying about the process of identifying the remains [once they arrived in Russia]?

Truthfully - they [my family who traveled there] say as little about this tragedy as possible; and we, on the other hand, try to gather as much information from them as we can. They want to forget about this nightmare as quickly as they can.

We were shocked by what we’ve learned from the official media - that my husband’s remains were identified. When we called our uncle [who traveled to] Moscow, he told us that they didn't even make it to the coroner's office. These are exactly these two [peculiar] worlds of which I spoke earlier.

It became apparent that madam Minister Ewa Kopacz [translator’s note: Minister of Health in Donald Tusk’s government], who was in possession of, then obviously misleading information, didn’t call the families, didn’t relay any information, but instead, was busy with her press conferences. Even then, faced with this tragedy, all they [the Donald Tusk’s government] cared about was the image of the governing crew; they spoke of more, and more [phony] successes, how many bodies were identified, and so forth. Now, from the perspective of time, I think, it was both inhumane, and brutal [towards the families].

The interview below with Osama bin Laden was conducted by the Karachi, Pakistan, daily newspaper, Ummat, and published on September 28, 2001, 17 days after the alleged, but unsubstantiated, al Qaeda attack of September 11, 2001, on the World Trade Center twin towers and Pentagon. The interview was sensational. The alleged "mastermind" of 9/11 said that he and al Qaeda had nothing to do with the 9/11 attack. The British Broadcasting Corporation's World Monitoring Service had the interview translated into English and made public on September 29, 2001.

Osama bin Laden's sensational denial was not reported by the US print and TV media. It was not investigated by the executive branch. No one in the US Congress called attention to bin Laden's refusal of responsibility for the greatest humiliation ever inflicted on a superpower.

To check my memory of the lack of coverage, I googled "Osama bin Laden's interview denying responsibility for 9/11." Some Internet sites reproduced the interview, but the only mainstream news source that I found was a 1 minute YouTube video from CNN in which the anchor, after quoting an al Jazeera report of bin Laden's denial, concludes that "we can all weigh that in the scale of credibility and come to our own conclusions." In other words, bin Laden had already been demonized, and his denial was not credible.
The sensational news was unfit for US citizens and was withheld from them by the american "free press," a press free to lie for the government but not to tell the truth.

Obviously, if bin Laden had outwitted not only the National Security Agency, the CIA, the Defense Intelligence Agency and the FBI but also all 16 US intelligence agencies, all intelligence agencies of Washington's NATO puppet states, Israel's Mossad and in addition the National Security Council, NORAD, US air traffic control and airport security four times on the same morning, it would be the greatest feat in world history, a movement-building feat that would have made al Qaeda the most successful anti-imperialist organization in human history, an extraordinary victory over "the great satan" that would have brought millions of new recruits into al Qaeda's ranks. Yet the alleged "mastermind" denied all responsibility.

I remember decades ago when a terrorist attack occurred in Europe, whether real or an Operation Gladio false-flag attack, innumerable organizations would claim credit. Perhaps this was the CIA's way of diverting attention from itself but it illustrates that every intelligence service understands the value to an organization of claiming credit for a successful attack. Although bin Laden denied responsibility, in 2011 some al Qaeda leaders, realizing the prestige value of the 9/11 attack, claimed credit for the attack and criticized Iranian President Ahmadinejad for questioning the official US story.

Although only a few Americans are aware of the September 28, 2001 interview in which bin Laden states his non-involvement with the 9/11 attacks, many Americans have seen post-2001 videos in which a person alleged to be bin Laden takes credit for the attacks. There are two problems with these videos. Experts have examined them and found them to be fakes, and all of the videos appeared after bin Laden was reported by the Pakistan Observer, the Egyptian press and Fox News to have died in mid-December, 2001, from lung disease.

Bin Laden also suffered from kidney disease. According to a CBS news report on January 28, 2002, Osama bin Laden was hospitalized for dialysis treatment in the Pakistani military hospital in Rawalpindi on September 10, 2001, the day before 9/11


Obviously, a man suffering from terminal lung and kidney disease did not survive for another decade to be murdered by a US Navy SEAL team in Abbottabad. A Pakistani TV interview with the neighbor of the alleged "bin Laden compound" exposed the assassination hoax. This sensational interview also went unreported by america's "free press." Shortly after the alleged assassination 30 members of the SEAL unit died in a mysterious helicopter crash in Afghanistan, and now we learn that not a single one of the thousands of sailors on the aircraft carrier, the USS Carl Vinson, witnessed bin Laden's alleged burial at sea from that ship. The press reports with a straight face that for unexplained reasons it was kept secret from the ship's sailors. This is supposed to be the explanation of the sailors' emails reporting to family and friends that they witnessed no burial at sea. Some speculate that the SEALs were bumped off before their questions to one another, "Were you on that raid?", reached outside the unit. Apparently, it doesn't strike the media or the public as strange that the US government captured and killed the terror mastermind without interrogating him and without keeping any evidence or presenting any witnesses to support the assassination claim.

Adolf Hitler claimed that communists burned down the Reichstag and that Polish troops had crossed the frontier and attacked Germany. With 9/11, Americans experienced Washington's version of these grand lies. An omniscient bin Laden dying from terminal illnesses in distant Afghanistan defeated the American National Security State and drove his attack through the walls of the Pentagon itself, requiring for our defense a "war on terror" that destroyed US civil liberties and financially ruined the country in order to prevent the triumph of a man who died of natural causes in December 2001.

Internal emails among U.S. military officers indicate that no sailors watched Osama bin Laden's burial at sea from the USS Carl Vinson and traditional Islamic procedures were followed during the ceremony. The emails, obtained by The Associated Press through the Freedom of Information Act, are heavily blacked out, but are the first public disclosure of government information about the al-Qaida leader's death. The emails were released Wednesday by the Defense Department. – Huffington Post

Dominant Social Theme: Oh, he is dead. Yes, we killed him. He is gone. Dead. We are so great. And he is cold and dead and drowned.

Free-Market Analysis: We have written numerous stories about the "death" of Osama bin Laden because it seems to represent everything that is wrong or at least inconsistent as regards the US's military-industrial complex.

We have noted in the past that the power elite that wants to build world government uses a variety of dominant and subdominant social themes to do so.

These themes are intended to frighten Western middle classes into giving up power and wealth to elite globalist solutions. One of the main modern tools is the war on terror.
Within this larger (apparently phony) war, the death of Osama bin Laden can be seen as a subdominant social theme, an elaboration on the main symphony of terror.

In retrospect, we think we understand the reason for its presentation. It was to provide a justification for US President Barack Obama to get re-elected.

Of course, we have doubts that Obama WAS re-elected. But the mainstream media has claimed that one of the reasons Obama was re-elected was because of bin Laden's death.
It doesn't really MATTER if bin Laden died or not. What DOES matter is that it provides a narrative that allows the media to offer a rationale for Obama's re-election.

This is what we call directed history. Theoretically speaking, the powers-that-be create a fake bin Laden death. Then they provide phony election results. None of it is true but the narrative itself justifies the results, even if they didn't happen.

We've written a lot about the so-called "death" of bin Laden and you can just search the Internet using "bin Laden death" and "Daily Bell" and find a number of articles on the subject.

The main point is that the death just doesn't add up. He had Marfan Syndrome and failing kidneys more than a decade ago. His death was reported significantly several times, especially in Egypt and Pakistani news, as reported by Fox News. All the CIA messaging from "Osama" after 2001 is identifiably false.

That doesn't stop the elite promotional machinery, though. They keep supporting this elaborate tapestry of evidence – books, movies and news reports – to create this overwhelming presentation of his death.

Absolutely none of it is corroborated and most is second- and third-hand. There is no body, no DNA, no films and many of the SEALS who were involved, at least tangentially, died in a helicopter accident. Some have theorized it was a warning to the SEALS to keep their mouths shut.

Here's an excerpt of the man's reported testimony:

Anchor: Welcome back, Mohammad Bashir is a resident of Abbottabad's Bilal Town. Muhammad Bashir might seem an ordinary guy but he is no ordinary guy. Muhammad Bashir lives in front of Osama Ben Laden's house in Bilal Town Abbottabad. On 2nd of May, Muhammad Bashir was present on his rooftop from where he saw the whole American operation against Osama Ben Laden with his own eyes. Yesterday when our team was present In Bilal Town, Abbottabad, near Osama Ben Laden's hose, Muhammad Bashir came to us and said, "Sister, I need to tell you something, something that is a burden on my heart and soul," just listen to what he said.

Bashir: I am going to share something about the Abbottabad operation, which till this day nobody else has told you. ... We were awake, not asleep, a helicopter came, some men came down from that, into that house, then that helicopter went away: 10-12 men, then, that helicopter took rounds of those rear hills, then he came back and when he came back, two more helicopters arrived, one from the west and other from the north, there was a blast in the first helicopter and it was on fire ... we immediately came out, when we reached there, the helicopter was burning, then after about 20 minutes the army and police arrived. They pushed us back, now we are asking that if Osama was here then who took him to America because all those men that came in the helicopter died in the blast. Now if Osama was in that helicopter he must have died and got burnt in that helicopter too, then how they took him? This is a question of serious concern ...

We could see the faces of those men but they were speaking Pashto. I don't know whether they were Pakistani or American army or people of agencies, as you know that agency people can speak many languages. May be they were speaking Pashto so that we consider them Pakistani. They knocked and banged at our doors and told us not to come out. I laid down on my rooftop and was watching them. My kids were calling me, I told them to go to their rooms and let me check what's going on...

Anchor: One thing is very clear in this video. Two helicopters hovered never landed. One landed and dropped Pashto speaking people on the roof — 10-12 of them. The helicopter left for 20 minutes and returned to load people in and then a small blast engine failure ... fire helicopter parts all over. Body parts arms, legs, head, all over. Pakistani Army/Police came in dispersed crowd. The whole scene is cleaned up totally now. No evidence left to examine...

So to repeat, according to THIS eyewitness, the only individuals that landed on bin Laden's so-called compound were 10-12 Pashto speaking individuals. The helicopter that returned to pick them up exploded, apparently killing all aboard.

In retrospect, the explosion of the chopper was (if nothing else) a positive coincidence for the US military, as it seems to have wiped out a good many additional eyewitnesses.
You would think newsgathering organizations would be on the ground, searching for this eyewitness and others. No such activity is taking place. The government's unbelievable story, expanded upon by ever more books, movies and reports, remains virtually unchallenged by the mainstream media.

In a way, it's chilling. A decade ago, we didn't understand any of this. But despite what we call the Internet Reformation, the power elite continues to purvey ever more unbelievable versions of directed history – as if the 'Net does not exist and their exposure is not fairly widespread.

Even this article that we are analyzing comes in for scathing criticism at the Huffington Post. A number of people simply don't believe the killing. It's taking on the same kind of resonance as the death of John F. Kennedy, another episode of apparently directed history.

We don't know if it is arrogance, desperation or a combination of both that is driving the elites to continue to deploy ever more unbelievable dominant social themes. But either way it's a significant development.

Conclusion: They don't seem to have any idea of how to grapple with the illumination the Internet has provided except maybe to ban it. And it's too late for that ...

Israel has de-classified an interview with a military commando about the 1988 assassination of Khalil al-Wazir, better known by his nom de guerre Abu Jihad. The candid interview has given a rare insight into how Israel conducts its special ops.

Israel was long suspected – and accused by the Palestinians – of killing Yasser Arafat's deputy in a Tunis raid in 1988. But keeping in line with Tel Aviv's 'neither confirm nor deny' policy, the raid became just another covert operation shrouded in mystery – until, nearly 25 years later, top military brass cleared an interview with the commando who allegedly pulled the trigger on Abu Jihad.Nahum Lev, the officer in charge of the special operation which eliminated Abu Jihad, died in 2000. But long before that he spoke to Yedioth Ahronoth's investigative reporter Ronen Bergman – and that interview has finally seen the light of day.

Lev was the first religious officer in the elite commando unit Sayeret Matkal. He earned a reputation as a tough and demanding commander and was appointed deputy of the elite unit under Moshe Ya’alon (later the IDF’s chief of General Staff and today Israel’s deputy prime minister). Their task: leading the top-secret Abu Jihad operation, code named “Show of Force,” which combined Mossad and special forces units.

Lev and another soldier, who dressed up as a woman for the attack, pretended they were a vacationing couple. Lev reportedly carried what appeared to be a large box of chocolates in one hand, in which he concealed a gun with a silencer that he was holding in his other hand.

Lev told Bergman all about the operation, the 26 officers involved, the boat journey to Tunis, eliminating the bodyguards inside and outside the house, his recollection of Abu Jihad having a weapon in his hand moments before he was killed – and shooting him dead.

“I read every single page in the intelligence folder we had on Abu Jihad. He was involved in a lot of horrible things against civilians,” Bergman quotes Lev as saying. “He was a dead man walking. I shot him without hesitation. I was careful not to hurt his wife, who had showed up there. He died. The extra forces came and verified his death.”

Dozens of similarly brazen operations have been attributed to Israel over the decades, but Israel rarely acknowledges responsibility. This apparent confession gives a rare glimpse into the country's covert operations. Abu Jihad founded the Palestinian Liberation Organization with Arafat and was blamed for a series of attacks against Israelis.

A top aboriginal leader says the government of Prime Minister Stephen Harper has launched a smear campaign against the Iranian nation and discourages Canadians from visiting Iran

“For us as indigenous people from the Canadian side, for us to be in Tehran, we were absolutely set upon, we were told ‘no, don’t go to Tehran’. But we were pretty clear that the dehumanization, the demonization of the Iranian people has been one of the facts of Western media and we understand that because we too have also met with the crusader,” Terry Nelson, the top Chief of Canada Aboriginals-- also known as First Nations said in an interview withPress TV on Sunday.

The comment comes as Nelson is currently in Tehran to seek help in exposing Ottawa's exploitation and abuse of aboriginal communities.

The top Canadian chief went on to say that indigenous people in Canada need to go outside the country to open up human rights issues, the same thing that Native Americans have done over the years.

“The problem with the indigenous peoples in Canada is that they have not done the same thing as the Native Americans. Native Americans have always consistently gone outside the country to deal with their human rights issues and essentially have dealt with other countries,” he noted.

Activists say there has been a significant rise in human rights violations together with an unprecedented crackdown on freedom of speech since Canadian Premier Harper took power in 2006.

According to reports, Canada has forced thousands of aboriginal children into ghastly boarding schools where they have been abused sexually, psychologically, and physically.

The Native Women’s Association of Canada has documented over 600 cases of missing or murdered aboriginal women and girls from across the country in the past twenty years. These alarming rates have been a major source of concern and grief for the aboriginal community.

The UN has also strongly condemned Canada's record on children's rights, and accused Ottawa of systematic discrimination against aborigines and immigrants.

Condemning Western media for portraying a horrific image of Iran, Nelson concludes that Iranians have been very kind to us.

“We clearly, our people’s religious spiritual understanding was confronted. So I think one of the things we have to do is that our people have to continue to go. I was really, really surprised and, I guess, not so much surprised, the treatment of the Iranian people for us has been great. This is something the Western media has always said that if you go to Iran you will be treated really badly,” Nelson concluded. 

'Another One Bites the Dust'

Noel Polanco, Unarmed Man Killed By NYPD, Was National Guardsman ... An unarmed 22-year-old man shot and killed by a New York City police officer during a traffic stop in Queens Thursday morning was a member of the New York Army National Guard, authorities said. Police said Noel Polanco was speeding and driving erratically near LaGuardia Airport just after 5 a.m. when he was pulled over by officers. New York Police Department sources initially told news outlets that as two officers approached the car, Polanco reached under his seat, prompting Detective Hassam Handy to shoot him once in the stomach. Polanco died shortly after being taken to a nearby hospital. – Huffington Post

Dominant Social Theme: Police officers are serious people and crime is a serious occurrence. In America, you can die even if you just go a little bit over the speed limit, or if law enforcement believes you might have been doing so.

Free-Market Analysis: This is a sad article posted at the Huffington Post but we have given this article a foolish and insensitive title to show how easy it is to get inured to this kind of police brutality.

There is no other description for it but "brutality." Over and over – almost every day now, it seems – there comes some report of an officer of the law shooting someone who has been stopped for a potential infraction as minor as a traffic ticket.

In too many cases, the individual is proven to have not actually done anything confrontational. The gun the individual was reaching for, or knife, or whatever, turns out not to exist. Yet these people bleed to death, or go into shock and die, or have heart attacks from tasers.

One is simply left with a series of victims commemorated often on YouTube. But what is even sadder is that while an initial video report goes up – or in this case an article is written – the follow-up is lacking.

We never find out about the officers themselves. Almost invariably they are placed on "desk duty" while an investigation is marshaled. But it is hard to find out the results of such investigations. It is hard to find out the aftermath of any of it.

Are the officers disciplined? Are they sent back out into the community to murder again? It IS murder, after all. There is no other word for it.

Civilians can spend the rest of their lives in jail if they shoot and kill someone. But officers who kill may be given back their guns, tasers and badges and released from their desks to go back out into the community. Presumably, this takes place if it can be reasonably shown the officer was in fear for his life.
Another one bites the dust ... like a bad pop song. Meaningless. Lives are destroyed ... for what? We are so inured to it that it barely registers.

Someone was stopped for speeding. Imagine dying because you were driving "too fast." Realistically, it doesn't even matter. Many studies have proven that driving quickly does little if anything to increase mortality and that enforcing low speed limits is basically a waste of time. Talk about a meaningless death. Here's some more from the article:

No weapons were recovered from the car, but a hand drill was found under the driver's seat, police said. NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said Thursday afternoon that a passenger in the car described as false the initial account that Polanco reached under the seat.

"The last thing she saw was his hands on the steering wheel," Browne told The New York Post. The shooting is now under investigation by Queens District Attorney Richard Brown, a spokeswoman for his office confirmed.
Amanda Reyes, Polanco's sister, was shaken when reached by The Huffington Post on her brother's cell phone. She said her father had died earlier this year. "I already lost my father three months ago, and now my brother?" Reyes said. "There's nothing to say. I have nothing to say. I just feel hurt. There's only hurt."

According to an Army spokesman, Polanco enlisted in the New York Army National Guard in April 2008 and was assigned to the 156th Engineer Company out of Kingston, N.Y. He did not serve in Iraq or Afghanistan and had no record of misbehavior. He lived in LeFrak City in Queens.

Perhaps Polanco did mean to assault the officer with a drill. But probably not. He died because an officer thought he was driving too fast. He was shot because an officer supposedly misinterpreted his gesture – though the only witness says Polanco's hands remained on the wheel.

We cover the memes of the elite. Our theory – borne out by research and reporting – is that these dominant social themes are meant to scare people into giving up wealth and power to globalist facilities. The idea is to create world government.

In the past decade, what we call the Internet Reformation has made it much more difficult, in our view, for thesepower elite to propagate these promotions.

As a result, they've turned to three historical tools: War, economic ruin and regulatory authoritarianism.
From our point of view, the rising tide of police violence and brutality is no accident. It is being orchestrated to make people fearful and confused.

The idea is to make people so cowed by "officers of the law" that they will put up with almost anything – any degradation of freedom – to avoid being maimed or killed.

Even more perniciously, this sort of brutality acts as a kind of divide-and-conquer mechanism. People begin to doubt that they can have any impact on "their" communities and cease to believe they have the ability to affect public policy.

Their own civic enterprises become estranged from them. Their law enforcement officials become a kind of occupying force for the larger central government.

Enough police brutality erodes our ability to feel shock. It sends a message that we are insignificant beings in the scheme of things, that our lives are forfeit on the whim of authority. But what is even more worrisome is that such acts of violence erode the bonds of civil society itself.

Conclusion: Police are taught to believe the public at large carries within itself the ever-present seeds of incipient criminality. Citizens increasingly feel isolated by the very organs of government once created to keep them safe.

Systemic Destabilization as “A Strategy of Tension”: 9/11, the JFK Assassination, and the Oklahoma City Bombing

Introduction: Structural Deep Events and the Strategy of Tension in Italy

From an American standpoint, it is easy to see clearly how Italian history was systematically destabilized in the second half of the 20^th century, by a series of what I call structural deep events. I have defined these as “events, like the JFK assassination, the Watergate break-in, or 9/11, which violate the … social structure, have a major impact on … society, repeatedly involve law-breaking or violence, and in many cases proceed from an unknown dark force.”²

The examples in Italy, well known to Italians, include the Piazza Fontana bombing of 1969, the Piazza della Loggia bombing of 1974, and the Bologna railway bombing of 1980.

These bombings, in which over one hundred civilians were killed and many more wounded, were attributed at the time to marginal left-wing elements of society. However, thanks chiefly to a series of investigations and judicial proceedings, it is now clearly established that the bombings were the work of right-wing elements in collusion with Italian military intelligence, as part of an on-going “strategy of tension” to discredit the Italian left, encourage support for a corrupt status quo, and perhaps move beyond democracy altogether.³ As one of the conspirators, Vincenzo Vinciguerra, later stated, “The December 1969 explosion was supposed to be the detonator which would have convinced the political and military authorities to declare a state of emergency.”⁴

Vinciguerra also revealed that he and others had also been members of a paramilitary “stay-behind” network originally organized at the end of World War II by the CIA and NATO as “Operation Gladio.”

In 1984, questioned by judges about the 1980 Bologna station bombing, Vinciguerra said: “With the massacre of Peteano, and with all those that have followed, the knowledge should by now be clear that there existed a real live structure, occult and hidden, with the capacity of giving a strategic direction to the outrages…[it] lies within the state itself…There exists in Italy a secret force parallel to the armed forces, composed of civilians and military men, in an anti-Soviet capacity that is, to organise a resistance on Italian soil against a Russian army…A secret organisation, a super-organisation with a network of communications, arms and explosives, and men trained to use them…A super-organisation which, lacking a Soviet military invasion which might not happen, took up the task, on Nato’s behalf, of preventing a slip to the left in the political balance of the country. This they did, with the assistance of the official secret services and the political and military forces.⁵

Gladio connections to sustained false-flag violence, again involving NATO and the CIA, were subsequently revealed in other countries, notably Belgium and Turkey.⁶

The original purpose of Gladio was to consolidate resistance in the event of a Soviet takeover. But many of the senior Italians involved in the bombings implicated the CIA and NATO in them as well:

General Vito Miceli, the Italian head of military intelligence, after his arrest in 1974 on a charge of conspiring to overthrow the government, testified “that the incriminated organization, … was formed under a secret agreement with the United States and within the framework of NATO.” Former Italian defense minister Paulo Taviani told Magistrate Casson during a 1990 investigation “that during his time in office (1955-58), the Italian secret services were bossed and financed by ‘the boys in Via Veneto’—i.e. the CIA agents in the U.S. Embassy in the heart of Rome.” In 2000 “an Italian secret service general [Giandelio Maletti] said . . . that the CIA gave its tacit approval to a series of bombings in Italy in the 1970s to sow instability and keep communists from taking power. . . . ‘The CIA wanted, through the birth of an extreme nationalism and the contribution of the far right, particularly Ordine Nuovo, to stop (Italy) sliding to the left,’ he said.”⁷

Another conspirator, Carlo Digilio, “described how he passed on details of planned bomb attacks to his CIA contact, Captain David Carret, who had told him that the bombing campaign was part of a US plan to create a state of emergency.”⁸ Daniele Ganser, in his important book Nato’s Secret Armies, has endorsed a Spanish report that in 1990 NATO Secretary General Manfred Wörner (aGerman politician and diplomat) secretly confirmed that NATO’s headquarters, SHAPE, was indeed responsible:

The Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), directing organ of NATO’s military apparatus, coordinated the actions of Gladio, according to the revelations of Gladio Secretary-General Manfred Wörner during a reunion with the NATO ambassadors of the 16 allied nations.⁹

Extrapolating from such testimony, Ola Tunander has compared the strategy of tension in Italy, with its false-flag bombing attacks, to “what the Turkish military elite might describe as the correction of the course of democracy by the ‘deep state’ [a Turkish term].”¹⁰

Strategy of Tension

But I believe it would be too simplistic an analysis to blame the Italian strategy of tension exclusively on Vinciguerra’s “super-organisation which… took up the task [of false-flag bombings], on Nato’s behalf.” There appear to have been other directing forces besides NATO and those elements Vinciguerra was aware of through Italian military intelligence (the SID, later SISMI). It is important to recall that the Italian trials of those convicted for the 1980 Bologna bombing implicated not only Vinciguerra, SISMI, and Gladio, but also elements of the Italian mafia (the Banda della Magliana) and the Italian Masonic Lodge Propaganda-Due (P-2), with links to criminal bankers and the Vatican.¹¹

In short, if we suggest that something like the Turkish deep state was involved in the Italian strategy of tension, this does not suggest a solution to the Italian mystery, so much as a zone, or interlocking network, for further research.

Has a Strategy of Tension Been Exercised in America?

Gladio connections to sustained false-flag violence, again involving NATO and the CIA, were subsequently established in other countries, notably Belgium and Turkey.¹² I wish to propose that America, as well as Europe, has also suffered from a similar series of false-flag structural deep events, including bombings, that have, in conformity with the same strategy of tension, systematically moved America into its current condition, a state of emergency.

Among the false flag structural deep events I wish to consider today are

The John F. Kennedy assassination of 1963, or 11/22, which led to the CIA’s Operation Chaos against the anti-Vietnam War movement. (11/22 was clearly a deep event: many documents in the area of Lee Harvey Oswald’s relations to CIA operations are still being withheld, despite statutory and court orders to release them.¹³

The Robert Kennedy assassination of 1968, followed immediately by emergency legislation which led to state-sponsored violence at the 1968 Democratic Party Convention.

The 1993 first World Trade Center bombing and the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, which led to the Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996.

9/11 and the subsequent false flag anthrax attacks of 2001, which led to the imposition of Continuity of Government (COG) measures, the Patriot Act, and the proclamation, on September 14, 2001, of a State of Emergency which remains in effect. (In September 2012 it was once again renewed for another year).¹⁴

These structural deep events have had a common and cumulative result: the erosion of public or constitutional power, and its progressive replacement by unconstrained repressive force. I have argued elsewhere that

1) as in Italy, all of these events were blamed on marginal left-wing elements, but in fact involved elements inside America’s covert intelligence agencies, along with their shadowy underworld connections.

2) some of these structural deep events bore a relationship to the ongoing secret planning – known in the Pentagon as the Doomsday Project – for Continuity of Government (or COG) in an emergency, which entailed its own secret communications network, and arrangements for what (in the Oliver North Hearings) was called “suspension of the American Constitution.”

3) in every case, the official response to the deep event was a set of new repressive measures, usually in the form of legislation.

4) cumulatively, these events suggest the on-going presence in America of what I have called a “dark force” or “deep state,” analogous to what Vinciguerra described in Italy as a “secret force…occult and hidden, with the capacity of giving a strategic direction to the [successive] outrages.”¹⁵

The Oklahoma City Bombing (4/19) and 9/11

Recently I viewed for a film, “A Noble Lie,” about the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.¹⁶ This gave me a chance, for the first time, to test these hypotheses against the case of Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995, or what I shall call 4/19. More than I could have anticipated, 4/19 fit into and strengthened this analysis.

Oklahoma City Bombing

The film “A Noble Lie,” itself points to some striking similarities between the events of 1995 and of 2001. The most obvious is the alleged destruction of a steel-reinforced building by external forces (a truck bomb in the case of the Murrah Building in 1995, flying debris in the case of Building Seven in 2001). Experts in both cases have asserted that the buildings in fact could only have been brought down by cutting charges placed directly against the sustaining columns inside the building. Here for example is a report to Congress from General Benton K. Partin, a retired U.S. Air Force Brigadier General and expert on non-nuclear weapons devices:

When I first saw the pictures of the truck-bomb’s asymmetrical damage to the Federal Building, my immediate reaction was that the pattern of damage would have been technically impossible without supplementing demolition charges at some of the reinforcing concrete column bases…. For a simplistic blast truck-bomb, of the size and composition reported, to be able to reach out on the order of 60 feet and collapse a reinforced column base the size of column A-7 is beyond credulity.¹⁷

There is now a broad and growing consensus among architects, engineers, and other experts, that the three buildings which collapsed on 9/11 in the World Trade Center were also most probably destroyed by controlled demolition charges.¹⁸

Former CIA agent’s trial postponed

The bagel shop parking lot assault case of former CIA agent Raymond Davis was set to begin this past week, but is facing another postponement.

According to Larry Klayman, attorney for Jeff Maes – who was allegedly seriously injured by Davis in an argument over a parking space in Highlands Ranch – the criminal trial is now scheduled for Feb. 12, one day after the civil trial gets under way.

“It’s a very unusual circumstance,” Klayman said of the two trials being stacked on top of one another, adding that the criminal trial was delayed so that the prosecution could “rediscover what they already knew – that Maes’ injuries were caused by Davis and not pre-existing by nature.”

According to Deputy District Attorney Doug Bechtel, the prosecution is still in the process of gathering all of Maes’ medical history in order to prove that the injuries allegedly sustained outside of Einstein Brothers Bagels in October 2011 were indeed not pre-existing.

“I don’t have all the information I need and obviously I need to disclose (everything) to the defense,” Bechtel said in a recorded conversation with Klayman that Klayman released to the Herald. “In a preliminary hearing doubt, quite frankly, doesn’t matter. Is there a reasonable belief that the defendant could have committed this crime is enough. Once we start trial and are talking about ‘beyond a reasonable doubt,’ now I have to be able to rebut every one of their defenses.”
On that same recording, Bechtel said there are no plea deals being discussed between Davis’ defense and the prosecution at this time.

It was previously reported in an Aug. 30 story in the Herald that Klayman is under the impression that the DA has been talking with the CIA and that the CIA has been putting pressure on the DA to work a plea deal with the defense, so that Davis’ former role with the agency is not exposed in what expects to be a high-profile case.

The DA’s office has adamantly denied having had any contact with the CIA. Davis, 37, is charged with second-degree felony assault for punching the 50-year-old Highlands Ranch man, knocking him to the ground and allegedly seriously injuring his back, neck and arm.

Davis made national headlines in January 2011 when he was jailed in Pakistan for killing two Pakistani men he said were trying to rob him. An unknown source later paid $2.34 million in blood money to have him released. Seven months after his return to the U.S., Davis got into the altercation in the Highlands Ranch parking lot.

“They (CIA) want to shut down the case because they don’t want any information about Raymond Davis to get out, and I think they are also worried that if they don’t run interference for him that he may squeal in terms of what he was doing over there in Pakistan and perhaps on other matters too,” Klayman said.

If the charges remain as they are and Davis is convicted, the defendant faces a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison and a maximum sentence of 16 years. Davis entered a not-guilty plea April 30.
